Filtration Group Completes Acquisition of MAHLE Industrial Filtration GmbH

Filtration Group Corporation is pleased to announce that it has closed its acquisition of the industrial filtration business of MAHLE GmbH. In August, it was announced that Chicago-based Filtration Group Corporation would acquire the industrial filtration business of MAHLE. That transaction has been approved and closed across all countries in which MAHLE Industrial Filtration operates. The acquisition adds filtration capabilities in industrial filtration across a variety of applications including industrial air filtration, process filtration, hydraulics and fuel separation and replacement elements.

“The addition of MAHLE Industrial Filtration products and capabilities to our portfolio of advanced filtration solutions is a great fit for us strategically,” said Steve Felice, Filtration Group CEO. “This will give customers more choice and flexibility in how they can utilize filtration to make their environments cleaner, safer and more productive.”

The acquisition expands Filtration Group’s presence globally by adding over 900 employees with world-class production facilities in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Romania, the US, Japan and China. Customers now have the ability to tap into the world’s leading filtration expertise across the most comprehensive portfolio of filtration solutions in the world.

“Our mission is to make the world safer, healthier and more productive,” said Felice. “We continue to move that mission forward by adding to our advanced filtration capabilities around the world.”
